Civic Ambassadors

We recruit, convene, and support an intergenerational network of leaders to lead actionable changes in their communities through inclusive, participatory civic action.

Our Approach

Civic Ambassadors is an intergenerational network of everyday people trained and supported by Everyday Democracy to strengthen their communities through inclusive, participatory civic action. Civic Ambassadors work alongside neighbors, community organizations, and local government as nonpartisan agents of change, building civic trust, engagement, and shared responsibility.

Our approach combines skill building, hands-on community projects, and ongoing coaching. Over six months, Civic Ambassadors receive training in community leadership, civic participation, organizing, and action planning — all grounded in an equity lens. They then design and carry out real-world projects in their communities, supported by structured reflection, peer learning, and coaching from Everyday Democracy.

Through this model, Civic Ambassadors deepen their civic skills, strengthen community connections, and translate shared concerns into meaningful action.
